R. "Garrett" McKay Jr. proudly works for SSS Clutch Company in New Castle, Delaware as an Application Engineer.  Garrett works directly with OEMs and end-users in the maritime, power, and petrochemical industries to develop and deliver the best-suited clutch/disconnect solution for their rotating equipment.  An avid builder and car enthusiast, Garrett earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 from the University of Delaware.  One of Garrett's prized achievements was participating in the University of Delaware's FSAE (Formula Society of Automotive Engineers) team to design and build a functional racecar that competed in Lincoln, Nebraska against 80 other competitors.  In his spare time, Garrett likes to complete ambitious home projects and spend time refurbishing and enhancing vintage Porsches.
